SAT Scores Down. Buildings Closed.

Average FCPS SAT scores dropped 29 points between 2018 and 2025. 82-point crash at Thomas Jefferson in 2025. Only 5 of 25 high schools qualify for competitive colleges. The Pennino Building is closed for maintenance.

The Solution
Reduce the Rate. Freeze Salaries. Restore Accountability.

Supervisors should have lowered the tax rate from $1.12 to $1.08 to offset 4% assessment increase. Freeze county salaries until average salaries are published. Freeze school salaries until SAT scores recover to the 2018 level.
